About Our Team
Years Experience: 200+ Years
With over 200 years combined experience on the Akon-Donluis team, each team member brings expertise and knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, international supply chain and safety compliance.
Our team has positive relationships and daily contact with the various government ministries involved in meeting shipment requirements. These include customs clearance, vessel clearances and other associated maritime obligations.
Our team brings a full range of logistics expertise to every project, and together work to achieve the results our clients expect.

He began his career in the logistics business 20+ years ago after studying at the University of Madrid. Early on, he purchased the local Kuehne and Nagel branch in Equatorial Guinea and eventually his former companies were developed into the current business entity, Akon-Donluis. It holds offices in Malabo and at Luba Freeport on Bioko Island and in Bata on the mainland.
Under his leadership, Akon-Donluis has grown from a handful of workers to a team of more than 45 people. Luis Ondo believes in a strong team: one that is fully trained and ready at all times to meet its customers requirements.
Luis leads the company with strong values. As he often says, “Our strengths are that each team member is driven by the seriousness of the task at hand, and to keep our customers informed at all times. Our dedication to our customers, to treat them as we would want to be treated, makes the difference.”
Luis Ondo is proud to have built a company that has contributed to the economy of his country. It has primarily served international Oil and Gas operators and their subcontractors. It then expanded to serve related industry clients. Beyond these, Akon-Donluis now delivers services to any company doing business in EG.
